Napoli’s Sporting Director, Mauro Meluso, has disclosed that the club will initiate fresh contract negotiations with Victor Osimhen in the coming weeks.

Osimhen and Napoli had a strained relationship recently due to his dissatisfaction with the club’s TikTok videos and the club’s displeasure when Osimhen returned from international duty with an injury.

Despite these issues, Meluso has confirmed that Napoli is preparing for a new round of discussions with Osimhen’s representatives in the next couple of weeks.

“There will be a meeting between the President and Osimhen’s entourage over the next few weeks.

“It is part of the game and a little time is needed to think about it,” according to Calciomercato.com.
