SSC Napoli forward has been handed a two-game ban and €5000 fine for his off-the-ball incident during the team’s opening Serie A match against Venezia.

Osimhen was shown a straight red card for pushing Venezia defender Daan Heymans during a tussle in the box.
Though it had seem a harsh decision at the time, the Napoli player got off with a punishment for dissent.
In a statement on the club’s website, Tuesday, Napoli disclosed that they’ll appeal the decision.
Victor Osimhen was disqualified for 2 rounds after being sent off in the match against Venezia.
The Napoli striker was sanctioned by the Sports Judge “for having voluntarily slapped the face of an opponent with the ball not within playing distance”.
The blue club will appeal.
Spalletti was also warned during the match against Venice.
The two game suspension will see the Nigerian miss the fixtures against Genoa (A) and Juventus (H).
