To deter interest from European clubs seeking their prized Forward, Napoli have open contract extension talks with Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has 16 goals this season for Luciano Spalletti’s team in 17 league games and has attracted a lot of interests.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG have all been linked with a move for the Nigerian striker.

This is also seen as a move by Napoli to possibly get more money should they decide to sell the 24 year-old.

Osimhen’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2025 and the Club is looking to extend it by at least a year.

Napoli’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, according to Gazzetta dello Sport has been in touch with Osimhen’s agents to work on the transaction.

The Nigerian will receive more money with a new contract, he’s currently on €4.5million net salary.
