Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis has rejected a substantial €130 million bid from Al-Hilal for Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen.

Al-Hilal’s pursuit of Osimhen comes as an alternative move after their initial interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s star forward, Kylian Mbappe, was met with a lukewarm response.

The Saudi Arabian club has since shifted its attention towards securing the services of the Nigerian.

According to reports from Il Mattino via TMW, Al-Hilal made a substantial bid of €130m for Osimhen.

However, Napoli promptly rejected the proposal, making it clear that they have no intention of letting go of the talented striker during this summer transfer window.

Instead, Napoli is prioritizing negotiations for a new long-term contract to secure the Player’s future at the club.
