Despite leading Napoli to their first Scudetto in 33 years, Luciano Spalletti has chosen not to continue with the club next season, and leaves Napoli with the big task of finding a worthy replacement.

The likes of Luis Enrique and Antonio Conte have been mentioned for the Napoli job, but nothing concrete has been decided so far.

One thing is clear, whoever is chosen to replace Spalletti must do their best to convince striker Victor Osimhen that his immediate future lies at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and not elsewhere.

Osimhen is having a remarkable season, having scored a career-high 25 league goals and could finish the campaign with the Capocannoniere.

He is also sought after, with many clubs showing interests including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.

Osimhen will need a coach that he believes can improve him and give him an important role while challenging for titles, and that’s what makes the search for Luciano Spalletti’s replacement daunting.
