Napoli’s sporting director, Mauro Meluso, has quashed any rumors of Victor Osimhen leaving the club in January.

Osimhen has been the subject of transfer speculation since last summer, and the recent contract negotiations between him and the club have yet to be resolved.

Despite these issues, Meluso has made it clear that Napoli will not entertain the departure of key players like Osimhen in the upcoming January transfer window.

While Meluso was asked about top players including Osimhen possibly leaving the club in the January transfer window, Meluso strongly denied it.

“No, no way. Absolutely not.”

“Our squad is very good and we feel relaxed. Of course we can improve it but we will discuss this topic later.”
