Plateau United forward Mustapha Ibrahim believed Coach Abdul Maikaba is getting the best out of him and he want to carrying on scoring goals for the team.

Ibrahim was on target for Plateau United, in their comeback 2-1 win against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in a match day 3 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The gangling striker scored the first goal in the comeback win over Maikaba’s former side , before Umar Abba made sure Plateau United continued their 100% start to the season with the second goal.

“After the first game I struggled a little but was never pressured as we were getting positive results though I was very happy to have scored but I’ll still work hard to continue scoring so as to win the NPFL with Plateau United. Coach Abdul Makaiba knows my strong area and he knows how to utilize it”. Mustapha said.

The Chan Eagles striker stressed further, that team will try to get the Maximum points when they come up against Nasarawa United later in the matchday four.

“It is obvious that we are top of the log and every team will want to beat us but picking as many points as possible is our target as we head to Lafia to battle Nasarawa United and Insha Allah we will return to Jos with the full points in the kitty, he concluded.

Ibrahim joined Plateau United from Enyimba FC of Aba .
