Musa Takes Goal Number 4 Into Eagles’ Camp

Date:

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia striker, Ahmed Musa will arrive at the Super Eagles’ camp on Monday in high spirit, after netting his fourth goal of the season with his club.

Musa, who is billed to captain Nigeria against Libya next Saturday in Uyo, is riding on high, with what footballlive.ng reports is his best season at club in recent years.

His glory run got to another height on Friday, when the former CSKA Moscow of Russia and ex-Leicester City of England attacker hit target for Al Nassr in a 5-1 win over Al Hazm.

It was his side’s fifth win and same number of matches so far this season in the Saudi Arabian Pro League, and Musa is equally happy seeing Al Nassr go two points clear at the top of the table.

Musa struck first to help Al Nassr open scoring in the 26th minute, before Giuliano got a brace eleven minutes after the restart, when he finished off a brilliant pass from the Eagles star, who now has four goals in five appearances.

Musa will now hope to carry his club form into national team action when Nigeria face Libya in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier next Saturday in Uyo.

He will then hope to continue his excellence on returning to Al Nassr, as they then travel to Al Batin in their first match after the second international break of the season.
