Moses Simon Sets Personal Record in Ligue 1

Moses Simon has continued his remarkable start to the 2023-2024 season with Nantes in Ligue 1 in their 2-0 victory against Montpellier.

Simon broke his own record by making his highest number of goal contributions in his first nine games of any Ligue 1 season.

 

On Sunday, his contribution came in the form of an assist in the league win over Montpellier.

He provided the assist in the 74th minute when he set up Kader Bamba to score Nantes’ second goal, securing their triumph over the 2011/2012 French champions.

The 28-year-old winger has accumulated an impressive seven goal involvements in the current campaign, comprising two goals and five assists.

It’s an achievement that marks his highest number of contributions after nine matchdays since his debut in the Ligue 1 in 2019.

Simon’s consistent performances have been a key factor in Nantes’ strong start to the season.
