Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was an instant hit on his debut for FC Nantes in the French Ligue 1, coming off the bench to score the winning goal against Amiens on Saturday.
Malian striker Khalifa Coulibaly drew the first blood in the 53rd minute before Boungani Zungu leveled terms in the 71st minutes.
It took Simon who replaced Abdu Kader Bamber only 13 minutes to score his first goal in the colours of Nantes.
The Super Eagles forward charged onto a pass before finding the back of the net from a tight angle in the 83rd minute to give Nantes their first win of the season.
