Moses Simon got the first goal for Nantes as they defeated Brest 4-1 to end a terrible run of form for the French side.

Nantes have been winless in their last 7 games and have suffered 4 defeats on the bounce heading into the fixture.

Nantes started the game on the front foot but things didn’t go according to plan, they got awarded a penalty in the 12 minute but Ludovic Blas failed to convert the spot kick.

Brest took advantage of the miss and went ahead through Noah Fadiga in the 16th minutes, but Nantes began to apply pressure and they got awarded a second penalty for their troubles.

Moses Simon stepped up and converted the spot kick to equalise for Nantes in the 35th minutes and set them on the path to victory.

Nantes doubled their lead in less than minute after the first as Ignatuis Ganago capitalised on a defensive error to shoot the canaries ahead.

Nantes controlled the game in the second half and added to their tally with two late goals from Mostafa Mohamed and Moussa Sissoko to pick all three points and lift the pressure off the shoulders of Coach Antoine Kombouaré.
