Super Eagles forward Moses Simon is delighted to help his club Levante are end a nine-game winless run in La Liga following their 4-0 win over Real Betis.
The former Gent winger Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was a 66th minute substitute on Wednesday night.
“My entire team and fans are really relieved after we passed through a difficult period by going nine matches without a win in La Liga,”
“There was a time this season we were fourth on the table, but presently we are struggling to stay out of the relegation.
“So, it was really special when we beat Real Betis.
“To win 4-0 was huge and we hope to continue in this manner. It is good for our confidence leading up to for the next game.”
Following the victory , Levante now moved up to 14th on the table with 37 points from 34 matches and will take on Barcelona on Saturday.
