Fenerbahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses has promised to put up better performance for the club against Sivasspor this Friday, as he aims for redemption from last weekend’s fumbling outing.
In their last match, which was against Turkish Super Lig leaders, Istanbul Basaksehir, Moses was found wanting on several fronts, with many of his mates also falling short of their fans’ expectations, as Fenerbahce suffered a 2-1 defeat.
However, footballlive.ng can now report that Moses admitted that his performance against Basaksehir was not good enough and pledged a better outing this Friday when Fenerbahce host Sivasspor.
Moses, who is on loan from Chelsea of England, has started the last four matches for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Lig, but The Yellow Submarines have been inconsistent with their results and he now wants a change.
He admitted he is still trying hard to settle down, after arriving at the Istanbul club in January, but the former Super Eagles star admits there is no room for excuses and no margin for more fumbling.
Moses added: ”I know I haven’t done enough yet but I want to help the team against Sivasspor.
“I’m in a process of integration, but I feel better every match. This week will be another positive for me.
“The Turkish League is difficult, there are no easy encounters (but) we will please our supporters who support us under all circumstances.”
