Forward Leke James is in sizzling form this season for Molde in the Norwegian League, his 12 goals helping the club maintain top spot in the Eliteserien.
James, 26, has been impressive for the three times Norwegian champions and is confident he can bring that form to the Super Eagles.
“It’s something I have always hoped for, I believe with the experience I have been able to gather over the years, there is a lot I can bring to this team.
“The Super Eagles is one of the best teams in the world. I say this because Nigeria has an abundance of talent, that if properly harnessed can surpass any team in the world.
“We have creative and outstanding players all over the world and I believe I can make a difference,” he said.
Molde is currently topping the Norwegian league with 53 points, 5 points above 2nd placed FK Bodø/Glimt.
