Super Eagles forward, Terem Moffi registered his name on the goal scorers’ sheet as OGC Nice earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Stade Rennes in their Ligue 1 clash.

Gaetan Laborde opened the scoring for the hosts early in the second half, and Terem Moffi then added the team’s second with a composed finish in the 72nd minute – his 17th goal him in Ligue Un this season.

With just 12 minutes remaining, Benjamin Bourigeaud managed to reduce the deficit for the visiting team, allowing Nice move up two spots in the standings in eighth-place.

Moffi currently sits sixth in the French Ligue 1 goalscorer’s rankings, just behind the prolific Kylian Mbappe (23), Jonathan David (21), Alexandre Lacazette (20), Loïs Openda (18) and Folarin Balogun (18).
