OGC Nice forward, Terem Moffi says his focus is on helping the team secure European football next season rather than pursuing the Ligue 1 Golden boot.
Despite his impressive record of goals scored, Moffi insists that his primary focus is helping his team reach their goal.
The 23 year-old has scored four goals in eight games for OGC Nice and 16 goals in 26 Ligue 1 outings this season.
He has been in excellent form and with the club in mid-table there’s still a good chance of finishing in a European place by the end of the season.
“Obviously every striker thinks about winning the Golden Boot, but at the moment, I am more focused on helping my team win games and we try to achieve European football next season.”
“Our collective goal right now is we want to win games and reach the Europa Conference league finals and qualify for next year’s European Conference League or even the Europa League.”
