Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju has picked Croatia’s Luka Modric, as the best midfielder in the world at the moment.
Adepoju said it is evident, how Modric influences the game stated that winning the Ballon D’Or as well as the Golden Ball at the World Cup in 2018 confirms the Player’s greatness.
He also noted that he has been able to replicate such a high level of performance for a lengthy period of time makes him better than the rest at the moment.
Other names Mutiu Adepoju mentioned are Manchester United’s Brazilian midfield enforcer, Casemiro, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
He said all the players have different attributes which sets them apart from one another, but if left with only one option, he would choose Luka Modric above the others.
