Midfielder Alex Iwobi was the hero for Everton as the Toffees held Leicester City to a 2-2 draw at the King Power Stadium.
For the neutrals, the game had everything from goals to missed chances.

Everton took the lead in the 15th minute as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored from the penalty spot after a tackle in the box from Timothy Castagne.

Leicester City responded with a goal of their own in less than ten minutes, after Wout Feas knocked down a cross to the path of an unmarked Caglar Soyuncu to knock into the net, for the equalizer.

Jamie Vardy rolled back the years as he finished brilliantly to put his team ahead.

Things however changed in the second half as Everton came out with purpose and took the game to Leicester.

Alex Iwobi was at the heart of everything dangerous for Everton and it was only fitting he capped his performance with a goal.

Iwobi made three key passes, had two shots on target, and completed three of his attempted four dribbles. To cap the performance he won five tackles and came up with a crucial goal.

Ndidi on the other hand started at the base of a midfield three and had a very busy evening, he however put in a good shift in the hour which he had on pitch.

The midfielder completed 80% of his passes, completed two long balls, made three clearance and one interception. He was replaced by Preston Daka as the Gaffer opted for more firepower up front.

A win was what both teams needed, but they had to settle for a draw and Leicester where lucky to walk out with a point after the tense last few minutes where Everton could have snatched a winner.

The result leaves Everton in 19th place while Leicester are just a point above Everton, but in 16th.
