On Tuesday night, the African quintet of Dennis Emmanuel, Percy Tau, Krepin Diatta, Simon Deli and David Okereke were spectators in awe when Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe came off the bench to round off a superb night for the French Championship.

Mbappe, 20, scored a hat-trick and got an assist in PSG’s 5-0 routing of the Belgian side in their own back yard.

On that special night for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, he also broke Lionel Messi’s record of the youngest player to score 15 or more goals in the UEFA Champions League.

He was adjudged the best performer inside Jan Breydel Stadium according to ratings, with an impressive 9.7 score.

Nigeria’s Dennis Emmanuel was the highest rated Club Brugge player on the night (6.2).
