Olympique Marseille will sound out FC Lorient with a bid for Terem Moffi.

Marseille are considering matching a €18million offer on the table from OGC Nice, who are keen on securing Moffi.

The Nigerian forward has 18 months left on his deal with Lorient and also is on the shopping list of West Ham and Southampton this transfer window.

According to french outlet Mercato OM quoting L’Equipe, besides OGC Nice, Moffi has become a target for another Ligue 1 club who have a desperate need for a new Center Forward.

Marseille’s Chief Executive Executive Pablo Longoria and Sporting director Javier Ribalta will open discussions with representatives of the 23 year-old Nigerian over a possible move this January window.

Thus far this campaign, Terem Moffi has scored 12 goals in 18 appearances in Ligue 1.
