Leicester City’s manager, Enzo Maresca, has underscored the significance of midfielder Wilfred Ndidi to the team amid ongoing speculations about the player’s future.

Ndidi, who has been linked with potential moves away from the club, has been regarded as a crucial figure for Leicester City.

The Nigerian international has attracted interest from various clubs, including Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig and teams in Saudi Arabia.

However, Maresca has highlighted his vital role within the team, emphasizing his importance in the club’s setup.

“Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is one of the most important players, for sure. But for me, Wilfred is very important,” as quoted by Leicester Mercury.

“He’s trying to do something that he never has before, to arrive in the box and to try to be an offensive midfielder. He’s doing very well at that.”
