Date:

Cadet national team, Golden Eaglets coach, Manu Garba is sounding confident ahead of Saturday’s final against Ghana at the African U17 Cup of Nations zonal qualifiers in Niger Republic, because he says he knows the opponents inside out.

Although the UAE 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup winning coach admits the match against Nigeria’s eternal rivals will be tough, footballlive.ng gathered that Manu believes all his players are primed to go full throttle in order to win.

Victory would take Nigeria in as the only team from the zone to reach the African U17 Cup of Nations proper next year in Tanzania, and Manu says the urge to make history is also spurring his lads to go all out for victory on Saturday.

The former Wikki Tourist of Bauchi handler stated further that the Eaglets are charged for victory and promised that they will approach the game with all seriousness it requires.

Manu added that his lads are well focused, with their minds fully set on the clash and all want to will they pick the ticket to represent the zone at Tanzania 2019.

“We have come this far and won’t look back. I know so much about Ghana I’m confident we can beat them come Saturday,” Manu declared.
