Mansur Abdullahi Advises Ahead Of NFF Elections

Current assistant secretary of Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Mansur Abdullahi has suggested that a president who has made an impact on football in Nigeria, and also stays in the country, should rather be elected president of the NFF in the coming elections.

The former Falconets coach, in a chat with FL explained that, most of the candidates who have been cleared to contest, don’t have projects they have done to make football in the country better.

He equally suggested that the contestants needed to be in the country in order to recognise where things are wrong, as it would not be fair on the populace to have a leader who does not live in the county; it would be wrong to judge the state of the country’s football from afar.

The NFF elections is set to hold in Edo state on September 30th, and mixed reactions have continued to be generated following the screening of candidates.
