Manchester United Legend Rio Ferdinand has praised the impressive form of Everton Midfielder, Alex Iwobi.
Iwobi have been one of the most consistent performers in the EPL this season and he was on target against Manchester United when the Red Devils visited Goodison Park last weekend.
Ferdinand is impressed by how the Nigerian has turned his Everton career around after a testing two-and-a-half seasons with the Toffees.
Speaking to Vibe with Five, the former England & Manchester United star, Ferdinand claims that Alex Iwobi’s upturn in form is miraculous.
The former CB described the turn in fortune for the Player as similar to Arsenal’s Xhaka, both have been ‘resurrected from the dead.’
“What a strike,” Ferdinand remarked. “After Xhaka probably, who has come back from the dead, he’s (Iwobi’s) had the biggest sort of rebuild.”
