Nigeria international, Josh Majahas been named in Ligue 1 Team of The Week by renowned football statistics website,whoscored.
Maja netted his first career hat-trick for Girondins de Bordeaux in Tuesday’s 6-0 defeat of Nimes and also provided one assist, a result that moved his team to third on the league table.
The 20-year-old got 10.0 whoscored rating for his latest display and is joined by Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder in a 4-4-2 formation.
Ben Yedder was on the score sheet against Toulouse on Wednesday.
Other players on the list include Rennes’ Romain Del Castillo, Brest’s Cristian Battocchio, Bordeaux’s Otavio Santos and Saint-Etienne’s Denis Bouanga, in midfield.
Saint-Etienne defenders Mathieu Debuchy and Wesley Fofana are on the list as well as Olympique Marseille, Boubacar Kamara, while Brest’s Ludovic Baal completes the defensive setup. Rennes’ Edouard Mendy was adjudged the league’s best goalkeeper for the week.
Maja has scored five Ligue 1 goals in 14 appearances for Bordeaux this season.
