Maikaba assumes duties at Plateau United

The newly contracted manager of Plateau United, Abdu Isa Maikaba has formally assumed duties with the team.

Addressing players and technical crew members at the new Jos Stadium, Maikaba challenged them to imbibe the spirit of common thinking in order to achieve their set targets for the season.
Maikaba explained that with common thinking from the players it will be easier for the team to achieve collective targets set out by management of the team.
The former Akwa United head coach pointed out that his mission next season is to win the double and appealed to the players to redouble their efforts towards achieving that target.
Maikaba while expressing satisfaction with the calibre of players he met on ground, stated that he is willing to work with them and solicited their support.
General Manager of the club, Pius Henwan while introducing the new manager to other members of the technical crew, appealed to them to accord Maikaba the same support they gave his predecessor to enable him succeed.
Henwan disclosed that their unflinching support will enable the new manager settles down quickly in his new assignment.
Captain of the club, Golbe Elisha who welcomed the new manager to the club on behalf of the players, assured him of their total support in the discharge of his duties.
