Magical DeBruyne seals narrow win for Man City, Iheanacho impressed against his former club

Kevin DeBruyne curled home a sumptuous free kick in the second half and won a three points for Manchester City in the Premier League against Leicester City in the early kick off in Saturday.

DeBruyne’s goal in the fourth minute after the second half got underway ensured City’s paid off and they also climbed top of the PL table pending Arsenal’s game on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Leicester City have endured a tough start to the season, and have now only won three of the first 13 league games.

They didn’t roll over against the champions though, a couple of second half substitutions, including the introduction of Kelechi Iheanacho put some spring in the attack and pressing for the Foxes.

The combination of Iheanacho and Patson Daka up front created spells for Brendan Rodgers side and the Nigerian had to attempts on goal but just one was on target.

He also lofted a good cross into the box for Daka, whose header wasn’t powerful enough to beat Ederson in goal for City.

Next for the Foxes is a game on the road at Merseyside when they visit Goodison Park to face Everton.
