Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is convinced that the Super Eagles have enough quality to win the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Defending champions Algeria, hosts Cameroon, and seven-time winners Egypt are the favourites to lift the Nations Cup come February 6.
However, Okoye insists that Nigeria has the pedigree and players to enjoy a triumphant outing in Cameroon.
It would be his first major tournament as Eagles first choice goalkeeper and he is keen to make it one to remember.
Okoye would hope to remain between the sticks when Nigeria face Egypt on the opening day on January 11.
He lasted the ninety minutes and conceded a goal in Sparta’s 1-1 draw with RKC Waalwijk.
