Madu: Rangers will remain focused

Date:

Attacking midfielder Chiamaka Madu has admitted that Rangers international could have recorded an even better first leg result against Bantu FC whilst they ‘must remain focused’ back at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

The Flying Antelopes have a 2-1 result to protect in Enugu next weekend in this Confederation Cup Play-off round tie, which is played to determine final spots in the competition’s group phase.
“We have been able to curb Bantu’s play, we have scored two goals and even had chances to better that result, but we will not complain with the 1-2,” mused Madu to Footballlive.ng.
“What we can achieve is very important and we hope to progress through to the group stage, but in football you never know what can happen.
“We will have to remain focused.”
