Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman continued to shine in his debut Serie A season, notching his 7th goa in 15 league appearances for Atalanta, but it was not enough as the side lost 2-3 at home at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.

Lookman started in a two-prong attack alongside Duvan Zapata and was lively in the opening stages.

Atalanta also started the game well and won a penalty, as Stefan de Vrij was penalized for a clumsy foul, up stepped Ademola Lookman who coolly dispatched the spot kick to hand the hosts a deserved lead in the 25th minute.

Inter began to grow into the game and got a deserving equaliser 10 minutes after the went behind, an unmarked Edin Dzeko scored with a clever header inside the box.

There after, Inter began to stamp their authority and took the lead as Dzeko again got on the score sheet in the 56th minute.

Inter were not done yet and extended their lead, albeit from an unfortunate circumstance, when Jose Palomino turned the ball into his own net.

Jose Palomino then made amends in the 77th minute, he scored for Atalanta to put them within one, but Inter held their own to grab all three points in the encounter.
