Hoffenheim’s miserable losing streak in the Bundesliga Ended on Saturday, with Pellegrino Matarazzo and his Players celebrating their 3-1 win against Hertha Berlin.

The victory ended a 15-game winless run for Hoffenheim; the longest winless streak in the Bundesliga.

Goals from Andrej Kramaric (24′, 37′), both from the penalty spot and Ihlas Bebous added the third (51′).

With Hoffenheim on the home run to secure their first win since last October, they suffered a minor setback when Mu’nas Dabbur (71′) was sent off with a straight Red.

Hertha got a consolation, two minutes into stoppage time, former Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic found his mark.

Meanwhile, Kevin Akpoguma played the entire duration of the match, and was solid at the back, posting some remarkable numbers.

Akpoguma made 12 tackles, the most in the game, 2 clearances, 2 blocks and 5 aerial duels.

The Victory moved Matarazzo’s side out of relegation, to 15th and just one place above Saturday’s Opponent.

It was also Pellegrino Matarazzo’s first win as Manager of Der Blau in six games.
