Lobi Stars head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru has stated that his team is determined to secure the Federation Cup title this season.

Lobi will kick off their campaign by facing National League side FC One Rocket at the Awka City Stadium on Wednesday. In addition to the cup, Lobi Stars are aiming to have a successful season in the league.

“The needed confidence has been instilled in my players ahead of our Federation Cup match tomorrow,” Babaganaru stated.

“We are building a winning momentum to secure a positive result in Awka as you know the Federation Cup competition is a highly unpredictable tournament.

“This match will also be a morale booster for our next league match against Niger Tornadoes.”
