Lobi Stars have expressed regret over he unjust treatment players and officials received away at Doma United, from home supporters, on Sunday at the Pantami Township Stadium.
The League game finished 2-0 in favor of the hosts, which meant that Lobi Stars surrendered the top spot in Group B to Rivers United.
The Makurdi club claimed that the home supporters assaulted them, causing the game to be stopped.
He head if ICT, Achigbe George, reported theft, identifying the assailants as fans of Doma United.
“They were hostile at the beginning and during the match as proceedings were interrupted and several attempts were made to seize gadgets from the media team of the club.
“My gadgets were seized by some of the fans,” the Club official disclosed.
