Leicester Boss confirm fears Ndidi could be out for the season

Wilfred Ndidi could miss the rest of the 2021-22 season according to Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers.

Ndidi was taken off on the hour mark for the Foxes in their UECL clash at Rennes, with initial concerns suggesting a short period of recovery.

However, Rodgers speaking after Leicester’s 2-1 win over Brentford, confirmed the fear of many Nigerians by affirming Ndidi’s injury had no time frame.
The news meant Ndidi would miss both legs of the tie against Ghana with Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguavoen calling Innocent Bonke as his replacement.
