Leicester beat MK Dons to book QF spot… Ndidi benched, Iheanacho gets Sub’s role

Leicester City cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory against MK Dons in the EFL Cup fourth round clash at the Stadium MK on Tuesday.

Goals by Youri Tielemans (18′), Ayoze Perez (29′) and Jamie Vardy (50′) sent the Foxes through to the quarter-final.

It was a dominant performance from the Premier League side, and they controlled every aspect of the game.

Meanwhile, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers had both Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho on the bench.

The Nigerian duo started on the bench, but only Iheanacho was given minutes, brought on in the 67th minute as replacement for one of the goal scorers – Perez.

Leicester City’s last Cup victory came two seasons ago when they beat Chelsea 1-0 in the final of the FA Cup.
