Lebanese League is Better than NPFL – Andrew Ikefe

According to former Plateau United player Andrew Ikefe, the Lebanese League is rated highly than the NPFL.

Ikefe argues that the financial stability in the Lebanese top flight enables it have an edge over the premier division in Nigeria.

The 24 year-old CB, who joined Lebanese PL Shabab Sahel last October from Plateau United revealed that the club also had better facilities in the Middle Eastern Country.

“Financially, Lebanese paid better than Nigeria, I knew how much I have made in just 3 months I have spent here,” Ikefe stated.

“Nigeria doesn’t have the kind of facilities we have here in Lebanon and training is easier than in Nigeria. We trained for 1 hour and 30 minutes here but in Nigeria, it’s two hours or more.”

“They believe training for long hours will make you grow old than your age but instead, they prefer you rest well and gives you drugs that make you fresh.”
