Alex Iwobi had a good game for Everton against Chelsea at the Goodison Park on Saturday.

The Nigerian was on from start to finish and was unarguably the best player for the Toffees, despite playing from deep lying midfield role for the Frank Lampard’s men.
His partnership with Mali’s Abdoulaye Doucoure, Demarai Gray, and Dwight McNeil in a four-man midfield worked wonders, but couldn’t stop Chelsea from snatching a slim victory and end their three games losing streak at Goodison Park.
After the game, Frank Lampard was full of praises for the Nigerian star who dictated the play for Everton from the middle of the park.
“I thought Alex Iwobi was brilliant in the number six role. Because of his attitude, personality and humility, it doesn’t matter [where he plays]. I thought him and Abdoulaye Doucoure played very well in midfield today,” He said.
Meanwhile Jorginho got the victory for Chelsea from the penalty spot.
