Kwara United will Not Sit Back – Mohammed


Kwara United manager, Azeez Mohammed, has commended the adaptability of his boys to adapt in different situations.

Mohamned, particularly, praised the team for the impressive show in Lagos, their temporary home groun, for the CAF Confederation Cup where they beat AS Douanes, 3-0.

The gaffer hailed the Lagos fans, who showed support by coming out to cheer Kwara United to victory against their Nigerienne adversaries.

‘ I also want to thank our fans who travelled down to Lagos to support these players and the team,’ the Coach told FL.

Ahead of the preliminary round, second leg match in Niamey, the coach has revealed that his team will not try to defend.

‘The games could have been killed off in the first leg by five goals or more, after scoring three goals in the first half of the encounter in Lagos.

‘We will play as we should, but , his team will have to be cautious, especially as they played better and even threatened to score in the second half of the first leg in Lagos.’
