Cyriel Dessers was on target for Feyenoord in the KNVB Bekker Second round, but the Rotterdam side fell 1-2 in extra-time to Twente.
Dessers got a rare start – he has made only three starts this season in all competitions – and also played the entire 120 minutes of the encounter.
The forward netted his 10th goal in all competitions this season opening scoring in the Cup game with a strike in the 47th minute.
However, the hosts responded 11 minutes before the end Giovanni Troupee (79′) with the leveler and Manfred Ugalde completed the comeback with the winning goal in extra-time.
