Nigerian midfielder, Kingsley Michael has revealed a funny incident during his days with the national U17 team, the Golden Eaglets.
In an Instagram video with Tolu Arokodare and Victor Boniface, Kingsley Michael told a hilarious story of the Eaglets before their FIFA Under-17 winning campaign in South Korea.
The midfielder who is on loan at Reid from Bologna, recalled that the team’s outfit was a wardrobe malfunction which left players like Victor Osimhen embarrassed.
“When we went to Suwon in South Korea for an under 17 tournament, before the World Cup. At the end of the tournament other teams wore Canvas, we were the only one on slippers.
“Osimhen was shy, he was even hiding. Everyone wore slippers the Korean players were now laughing at us.”
