Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo believes the future is bright for the team after the third-place play-off victory over Tunisia, and is hopeful the young continues to improve.
Speaking after Wednesday win, Omeruo emphasized that the team is young and hopefully they will play together for long.
“The future is bright for us and I hope this team is together and we play more matches together.
“We wanted to be in the finals but it was not possible but. Well the ability to come back and fight for this third place wasn’t easy you know, but am happy we have achieved that,” he said.
Omeruo also addressed his future and new found form in the national team. He attributed all to hard work, prayers and family.
“Well it’s been hard work, prayers, good wife and good baby and wonderful just a family. I think I have rounded it up.”
