Kayode Olanrewaju sent off, costs Sivasspor first win of the season

Olanrewaju Kayode was sent off in the Super Lig match against Goztepe, but Sivasspor held on for a point in the dramatic 2-2 draw at the Yeni 4 Eylül Stadyumu.

Kayode was shown a straight red in the 70th minute for a dangerous tackle and could now miss up to three matches.
His compatriots Leke James and Azubuike Okechukwu also started the game, but were subbed off in the second half.
Sivasspor has started the game brightly, after Dimitrios Goutas opened scoring inside 11 minutes giving his side a lead they’ll take into the break.
After the restart, Goztepe leveled the scores, Halil Akbunar finding the back of the net with a 51st minute equalizer.
That goal spurred the home side on and just past the hour mark, Goutas scored (66′) his second of the game to restore their lead.
However the hosts were reduced to 10 men when the Nigerian forward Kayode Olanrewaju received his marching orders.
The numerical advantaged obviously played some part in helping the visitors force an outcome.
With six minutes of regular time left, Beykan Simsek struck the crushing blow that denied Sivasspor their first win of the season.
Riza Çalimbay’s side are now three games without a win, picking up a single point from the three round of matches.
