Kano Pillars need to beat Delta Force to qualify for NPFL Super 6 – Coach Ibrahim

As the battle for playoff places and against relegation takes another huge step in the NPFL, Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim A. Musa has maintained his team need to beat visiting Delta Force in their next game to ensure their place in the Super 6.

Pillars are second in Group B with 34 points from 20 matches, three points behind leaders and already qualified Akwa United and with two rounds of matches still to be played.

“We still have a lot of work to do because we have to win our home game against Delta Force before we start talking about Super 6,” coach Musa said in an interview monitored by our source in footballlive.ng

“We need the full points against Delta Force if we wish to play in the playoffs.”

Delta Force, FC Ifeanyiubah and El Kanemi Warriors are all on 30 points after 20 matches and so within touching distance of Pillars with two rounds of matches to the end of the regular season.
