Following the successful signing of the Nigerian midfielder, Afeez Aremu, from St. Pauli on Wednesday, the club’s managing director, Thomas Hengen has expressed his delight at the acquisition of the player.

Hengen mentioned that Aremu aligns well with the team’s philosophy and game strategy, making him a valuable addition to the Betzenberg side.

Kaiserslautern are looking forward to revitalizing their midfield competition with the addition of the 23 year-old, expecting his athleticism and dynamism to make a positive impact.

“He brings athleticism and dynamism and therefore fits in very well with Betzenberg and our game idea,” the club director said.

“He will liven up the competition in midfield again. We are sure that he still has a lot of potential for development, although he is already gaining a lot of experience in professional football at his young age.”
