Amid swirling the summer transfer rumours around Gift Orban, KAA Gent are scouting Europe for a replacement and it seems the Club may have identified a fellow Nigerian winger, Wale Alli.

Alli, 22, currently plays for Zbrojovka Brno in the Czech Republic’s Fortuna Liga and is open to leaving for a bigger prospect.

Fabrizio Romano, recently tweeted that Orban could make a significant move away from the Belgian Jupiler League during the upcoming summer transfer window.

He has scored fourteen goals in eleven games when playing for the Gantoise team in all competitions. His achievements have propelled the Belgian squad to fourth place in the Jupiler League rankings since his move from Norway in the winter transfer window in the middle of January.

Sacha Tavolieri, a Belgian sports journalist, has suggested that the Buffalos have identified Alli as the ideal candidate to replace Orban if he departs from the Ghelamco Arena in the summer transfer window.

Wale Alli has two goals and five assists this season in the Czech league and is still contracted to the RW until 2024 at the earliest.

The Nigerian forward had played for Austrian outfit SKU Amstetten before playing in the Czech Republic.
