Former Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho could return to management soon, following news he turned down an offer to take up the vacant role at Olympique Lyon.
Mourinho’s last Managerial job was at Manchester United after he was sacked last December, yet the “Special One” remains highly sorted.
According to Lyon President Jean-Michel, when the 56 year-old Portuguese was approached he stated, that he “has already chosen another club.”
“We had some fairly flattering exchanges over SMS,” Aulas was quoted by Get French Football News.
“It was nice for everyone. He did not accept our proposal to meet because he has already chosen another club.”
Mourinho, who is tipped to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur, by the British media, won three Premier League titles at Chelsea with former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi.
