Newly promoted NPFL side, Jigawa Golden Stars FC have successfully bolstered their squad with fifteen new faces following their decision to place some of their players on transfer footballlive.ng gathered.
Sequel to their successful campaign in the 2018/2019 Nigeria National League season, they will have a taste of the NPFL for the first time in many year when the new season kicks off.
Jigawa Golden Stars secured one of the NNL playoffs tickets beating NAF Rocket FC of Abuja 3-2, in July.
Team Manager Isa Dodo Isyak, told newsmen in Dutse that, “the new players have passed medicals and they are certified by the team medical department to play in the colour of the club next season.
“We are eager to feel the premier league, we cannot wait for the season kickoff. It will be a good feeling to play in the NPFL, where we will rub shoulders with the likes of Pillars, Katsina United, Enyimba FC, Heartland, Rangers and so on.”
