Former Super Eagles captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha has revealed his joy at playing host to Arsenal dazzler, Alex Iwobi this week, and took the opportunity to put his nephew through some new tricks in football.
The 22-year-old Iwobi paid his unccel a visit at his home, few hours after toiling in action with the Super Eagles against Egypt but, while many fans are critical of the youngster’s performances of recent, Okocha says it is only a matter of him to keep learning the ropes.
Consequently, heading into Monday’s English Premier League clash with Newcastle United, Iwobi was delighted to visit his uncle, and Jay Jay simply put him through some more tricks of the game.
Okocha disclosed as much on social media, as the former Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany, Fernebahce of Turkey and Paris Saint-Germaine of France star, who went on to captain Bolton Wanderers then ended his career at Hill City of England was delighted to play role of mentor.
Iwobi would then rejoin his Arsenal colleagues at their London Colney training base, as they as they prepare for Monday’s match at Emirates Stadium against Newcastle.
