Alex Iwobi and his Everton teammates were visitors at Brentford’s home ground, Gtech Community Stadium, on Sunday still chasing their first win in the Premier League.

Iwobi got the nod as a starter in the fixture against the Bees and in his make shift role as a CM, the Nigerian did just enough.
5 attempted tackles, 2 clearances and 2 shots were his key stats on the day, but his efforts wasn’t enough.
Everton shot ahead in the game, wantaway star, Anthony Gordon scored in the 24th minute to give Frank Lampard’s side a rare lead – their first this season.
While it seemed like they could go on to defend the slim lead, their frailties proved the undoing as Brentford snatched a late equalizer through Vitaly Janelty.
The sides settled for a share of the spoils, but fortune failed to shine on Everton yet again as the team have only two points from their first four games in the League and are currently 17th in the PL standings.
