Alex Iwobi was on the pitch for 92 minutes in Everton’s 1-0 win over Brentford at Goodison Park, on Saturday.
Iwobi did not have a hand in Dwight McNeil’s first goal, which also proved to be the winner, but he was solid on the defensive end of Everton’s play.
The midfielder was instrumental in keeping Brentford at bay for much of the match to ensure a win for the new manager, Sean Dyche.
The 26 year-old put his blocked £33million move to Turkey behind him, putting in the shift as he now looks to maintain his good form for Everton, who are battling to survive relegation this season.
